GScreen's Spacebook begins shipping this November, doubles your laptop editing fun

Twins, like cupcakes, are universally regarded as a good thing. So, it stands to reason that GScreen's attempt to double your laptop's screen size would be an equally appealing idea. Turns out, duping a display took the Alaska-based company a wee bit longer to fully flesh out, but the time has finally arrived for its debut. Shipping this November, the aptly-named Spacebook will bring a capacious, portable desktop solution to on-the-go creative professionals. The girthy, 10-pound rig won't be winning any style points from the svelte is better crowd, but that's easy to overlook given its dual 17-inch 1920 x 1080 screens, choice of a Core i5 or i7 processor, up to 8GB DDR3 RAM, 500GB of storage, NVIDIA's GeForce GTS 250 (1GB) and DVD burner -- all encased in a magnesium alloy frame. You can grab the entry level model for $1899, but the higher-end, two-headed beast will cost you $2099. Honda Pilot (2012)

The Honda Pilot eight-passenger SUV receives a wide range of upgrades for 2012 with a sleeker front-end design, enhanced interior features and an EPA highway fuel economy rating of 25 mpg on two-wheel-drive models, an increase of 2 mpg compared to 2011 models. The new styling for the front fascia, with its three-bar chrome-style grille, conveys a more sophisticated crossover SUV appearance. Interior styling changes focus on instrument panel refinement and a more intuitive button layout. For 2012, audio system upgrades on Honda Pilot EX and EX-L models include a 2 GB CD-Library (CD-L) and Bluetooth® Audio Streaming, along with the addition of Bluetooth HandsFreeLink® to those trim levels. Feature upgrades on the Honda Pilot EX-L include the addition of a full-color 8-inch intelligent Multi-Information Display (i-MID) for audio and vehicle information. Models equipped with the available Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System for 2012 receive subscription-free FM Traffic, 15 GB audio hard disk drive memory (HDD), and a higher-resolution display. The fuel economy gains for 2012 result from combined improvements to the powertrain, chassis and vehicle aerodynamics. The 250 horsepower i-VTEC V-6 engine includes additional measures for friction reduction and improved efficiency. The 2012 Pilot becomes quieter with additional noise insulation and other enhancements throughout the vehicle.

من بعد أن أعلنت شركة هوندا اليابانية رسمياً عن إطلاق النموذج الاختباري القريب من الإنتاج من طراز CR-V لعام 2012 والمُنتظر أن يُلحق بنسخة مخصّصة للاستهلاك التجاري الواسع قريباً، ها هو الصانع الياباني يكشف الستار رسمياً عن الجيل المحسّن بعمق من النفعية الرياضية متعددة الاستخدامات الكبيرة الحجم هوندا بايلوت 2012.

وتأتي هذه التعديلات والتحسينات، بعد مرور نحو الثلاثة أعوام على تقديم هذا الطراز بجيله الثاني ، في عام 2008، وتأتي على رأس قائمة التعديلات التصميمية شبكة التهوية الأمامية الجديدة بأضلاعها الكرومية الثلاثة، والذي تحل محلّ الشبكة التهوية القديمة غير الجذّاب للطراز السابق. كما نرى بعض اللمسات الجديدة في مقدمة السيارة ، مثل إضافة بعض اللمسات التحسينية تغطّي المنطقة السفلية من شبكة التهوية العلوية، التصميم المحسن لمصابيح الضباب التى تزينت بإطار من الكروم أحاط بها ، جنباً إلى جنب مع التصميم الجديد للإطارات السبائكية ، والمرايا الجانبية المثبّت عليها إشارات الالتفاف الصغيرة الحجم . وعلى الرغم من عدم الإعلان رسمياً عن الشق الميكانيكي لطراز هوندا بايلوت 2012 الجديد ، إلا أنه من المتوقع أن تستفيد بايلوت 2012 ، من علبة تروس أوتوماتيكية سداسية النسب عوضاً عن تلك خماسية النسب للطراز السابق، إلى جانب مقصورة محسّنة تحوي نظام ملاحة وأيضاً نظام صوتي جديدين.
